BMW:X1

Introducing you all to the BMW X1 the compact crossover manufactured by the company in 2009....


This is available in  rear-wheel(s-drive) and all -wheel drive    (x-drive).In 2015 BMW unveiled a new design for the BMW X1, at the in International Frankfurt Motor Show. The X1 is fairly base compared to other BMW models.... 

BMW X1 INTERIORS

  • The electronic gear shift, instead using a standard shifter..
  • The new X1 is said to be lighter than its predecessor by some 65 pounds, but its factory performance estimates don’t change much compared with the previous 28i.
  •  The sprint from zero to 60 mph takes 6.3 seconds, BMW says, while top speed is 130 mph—or, optionally, 143 mph.

The features include:
1. Adaptive LED headlights are available.
2.Power-folding rear seats are new as is hands-free operation for the power liftgate. 
3.Forward-collision warning.
4.Automated parking.
5. BMW’s ConnectedDrive app includes integration of Facebook, Twitter, Spotify,    iHeartRadio, and Life 360.

Inside, it’s typically BMW, with quality materials, but the cabin lacks any real design flair. The space on offer is the real boon here, however. There are 505 litres available in the boot – a considerable 85 litres more than chief rival, the AUDI Q3. This expands to 1,550 litres when the rear seats are folded flat – a useful 225 litres more than the Audi can manage.
